Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country pop music and songwriting rose to prominence in the world of television when she was Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. The show featured her debut releases as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, Television films, and other singles not from the album. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, while she was just a teenager. She was born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson from 2008-2009, as well as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's ensemble with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the final season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The song was later featured in Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in the year 2012. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She continued to act in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. It received a boost from her Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at three places in the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016, she spent two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. In the same year, she had an adult contemporary smash with Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
