Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records in her amateur. Ladd won her next bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound hit her for an TKO victory in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
